Recent NPU-F Meetings Update Residents on City Activities
The City of Atlanta is divided into 25 Neighborhood Planning Units, or NPUs. Lindridge-Martin Manor is in NPU-F. There have been two virtual meetings this summer, and the next is set for July 20.
The agenda is now posted online. Here are the latest updates from the May 2020 and June 2020 meetings:
MAY 18, 2020
The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department has started flushing hydrants.
Atlanta Police Department Code Enforcement inquiries should go to Officer Vincent Jeter at 470-626-7170 or vcjeter@atlantga.gov.
Atlanta/Fulton County Library is offering tutoring services for K-12. The contact is Oscar Gittemeire at LibraryOutreach@fultoncountyga.gov.
There have been no Zoning Review Board or Board of Zoning Adjustment meetings for several months. City courts are expected to open on June 12.
The city is conducting virtual building inspections.

The Peachtree Road Race is postponed until December 16, 2020.
Heritage Prep School, which now occupies a portion of the Morningside Baptist Church at Piedmont and Montgomery Ferry, is applying for a special use permit (SUP) to use the Rock Springs Presbyterian Church for its high school (grades 9-12). The congregation at the Rock Springs Church disbanded in November. The NPU-F voted to support this SUP.

The Atlanta Jazz Festival in Piedmont Park originally scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend 2020 has been postponed until May 2021.
