Neighborhood Planning Unit- F

The City of Atlanta is divided into 25 Neighborhood Planning Units, or NPUs. Lindridge-Martin Manor is in NPU-F.

These are citizen advisory councils that make recommendations to the Mayor, Atlanta City Council, Atlanta Police Department, and other officials on zoning, land use, and city planning issues. NPUs also make recommendations on Special Events and Alcohol License Applications.

We have two LMMNA Board members who represent our needs at NPU-F once a month. To contact them, send an email to npu@lmmna.org.

The NPU system provides an opportunity for citizens to participate actively in the Comprehensive Development Plan, which is the city's vision for the next five, 10, and 15 years. Our NPU also includes reps from other nearby neighborhoods and their associations:

NPU-F Meetings

WHEN: The NPU-F meetings are always held on the third Wednesday of each month beginning at 7 p.m. Agendas are generally posted two weeks ahead of each meeting. Check their website or social media channels for updates and committee schedules.

WHERE: Until further notice meetings will be held virtually via Zoom. Please see below for more information how to join virtually.

Voting During Virtual Meetings

As NPU-F continues to hold virtual meetings since COVID-19, it is necessary to verify which attendees are eligible to vote on matters that come before the group. You must be 18 years old and live or have a business within the NPU to cast a vote.

The NPU-F asks that anyone wishing to vote during virtual meetings pre-register and provide proof of residency. Businesses have additional requirements which can be found in the bylaws located on the NPU-F website.

  • All members of the household wishing to vote must register and be verified.

  • Please register and provide documentation at least 24 hours prior to each meeting.

  • Proof of residency may include: Photo or PDF of a driver’s license, utility bill, etc. It must show your name and address and be current. Identification numbers such as driver’s license number, account number, etc., should be blacked out.

  • Once residency has been verified, your information will be entered into a spreadsheet with an indicator that you have been fully verified. Any emails or texts with proof documents will be deleted.

  • Note that proof of residency should be submitted for all members of the household who will be using the same device to attend the meeting and vote.

  • If you do not live within NPU-F, please do not attempt to register.

  • Anyone who has not pre-registered and been verified will be allowed to vote provisionally. These members will need to verify their information within 24 hours.

  • Registration form is available by clicking here and also will be made available on the NPU-F website and social media:
