Thanksgiving for Fire Rescue Station 29

Thanksgiving for Fire Rescue Station 29

Each year, our neighbors team up with the Piedmont Heights Civic Association to provide a Thanksgiving Feast to the first responders at Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 29, 2167 Monroe Drive.

This year is a year like no other, but we were still able to show our love and appreciation to the men and women who proudly serve our neighborhoods. We took homemade dishes and all the fixings for an enjoyable meal on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday November 26.

“This was my first year helping to coordinate the Thanksgiving meal for our firefighters at Station 29, and right from the start I was blown away by the generosity of our neighbors,” said organizer Laura Lisa Pryor.

“Right after the signup was posted, emails started arriving immediately and we had 15 neighbors that participated! In such a crazy year, it really felt amazing to be a part of something so generous and good and it made me proud to be a part of our very special neighborhood.”

Here was this year's menu:
